Hey there,
As we get older, we tend to develop
more skin problems such as sun spots
and large pores. And if you’re looking
into a more natural skincare routine,
these might be concerns that need to
be addressed.
The good news is that papaya takes care
of multiple skincare needs.
This delicious, bright orange fruit is
jam-packed with lots of benefits.
By applying papaya as a mask on your
face, it actually helps to even out your
skin tone. Just think about how good
your skin will look without any makeup
after a few papaya face masks.
The same goes for your pores.
While it's important to steam and clean
out your pores from time to time, nobody
wants them to be big. That’s why we use
products on our face to minimize the
appearance of our pores.
But a papaya face mask can actually help
diminish your pores, which means you may
not have to wear as much makeup!
If you’re over the age of 40, then you may
very well have some sun spots on your skin
too.
It’s just part of aging and yes, foundation
can cover it. But a papaya face mask can
actually get to the source of the problem
and get rid of them over time.
To try this amazing, all-natural skincare face
mask, simply mash about 1/4 of a ripe papaya with
one tablespoon of organic, raw, all-natural honey
and let it sit in the refrigerator for about an hour.
Then apply it to your clean face, relax and let it
sit for about 20 minutes, and then rinse off with
warm water.
To get the most out of this papaya face mask,
try doing this once or twice a week and notice
the difference over time.
Papayas are fairly large fruit too, so you’ll
get more than one treatment out of each one.
These are just a few ways to use delicious
papayas as part of your natural skincare routine.
In next weeks post, I'll discuss the benefits
of cucumber as part of your natural skincare routine!

Adrenal Support
As we discuss recharging our bodies, I have to tell you that using these two essential oils have been a lifesaver for my adrenals!! I find nutmeg to irritate my skin on it's own, so I use a bit of coconut oil. Apply 1-2 drops of NUTMEG over adrenals (found on mid back just about an inch on either side of your spine) first thing in the morning. I then apply a drop of ENDOFLEX over my thyroid and a drop or two over my adrenals as well! Check out the picture below. The adrenal glands are the yellow on top of the kidneys.
